The Payoff: How You Get Paid

When an overcharge claim is accepted, the carrier issues a check for the claim amount made payable to our client and mails the check to Atlas.

We verify the accuracy of the check, matching it against our claim number and claim amount.

At this point, most of our clients (well over 80%) authorize Atlas to deposit the refund to our account and then we issue our check to you for the refund less our contingency fee. This procedure is most efficient in saving the client accounting and bookkeeping time and paperwork.

The other option is for Atlas to forward the carrier’s check along with an invoice for our contingency fee.

In either case, Atlas Traffic’s fee is a percentage of the recovered overcharges.
